Prince Andrew is to be stripped of his navy titles, Buckingham Palace has introduced.
The choice comes within the wake of a call by a US decide to permit a civil sexual abuse case involving the Duke of York to maneuver to trial. Andrew denies all of the allegations.
In a press release, the palace stated: “With the Queen’s approval and settlement, the Duke of York’s navy affiliations and royal patronages have been returned to the Queen.
“The Duke of York will proceed to not undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a non-public citizen.”
