Greater than 125 firefighters have been dispatched to a blaze in a high-rise constructing in east London which despatched glass panels crashing to the bottom.
The London Fireplace Brigade (LFB) mentioned that 20 hearth engines have been deployed to the scene on Whitechapel Excessive Road in Aldgate.
The hearth broke out on the seventeenth flooring of a block of flats, LFB mentioned.
Glass panels that had been on the constructing dropped tons of of metres to the bottom, footage confirmed.
A LFB spokesperson mentioned: “Crews are tackling a hearth on the seventeenth flooring of the constructing. The Brigade’s 64m ladder has been mobilised to the incident.
“The Brigade’s 999 Management Officers have taken greater than 50 calls to the blaze.
“The Brigade was known as at 15:53. Fireplace crews from Whitechapel, Shoreditch, Dowgate, Bethnal Inexperienced, Dockhead, Previous Kent Street, Islington and surrounding hearth stations are on the scene.
“The reason for the hearth shouldn’t be identified at this stage.”
